Four RS members sworned in

Four new members of Rajya Sabha were sworn in today by chairman Hamid Ansari.
Five of the 55 members elected to the Upper House in the biennial polls had not taken oath yesterday.
Those sworn in today included Nandamuri Harikrishna and Nandi Yehhaiah from Andhra Pradesh, Alka Balram Kshatriya of Gujarat and Om Prakash Mathur from Rajasthan.
Shivanand Tiwari, who was elected from Bihar, did not take oath today.
While the exception of Harikrishna who took his oath in Telugu, all other members did the same in the Hindi language.
