Games infrastructure will be ready by March 2010: Shiela Dikshit

In an interview to a TV channel, Chief Minsiter Shiela Dikhsit said Delhi will be ready to host Commonwealth Games soon. She added that the infrastructure required to host the Games will be ready by March 2010, and there was no question of failure in hosting the Games in 2010.

She has of late been under attack by the Commonwealth Games Federation for delay in various projects related to the Commonwealth Games.

CGF President Michael Fennel on Sunday shot a letter to the Organising Committee of Delhi Games, asking Indian Olympic Association chief Suresh Kalmadi to arrange a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh next month.
