Ghandy operated from Delhi for 3 years

According to the police, Kobad Ghandy stayed in Delhi for over three years and had a makeshift work place in Vasant Vihar. He operated from two places: his residence in Molarband, Badarpur and his office in Vasant Vihar.

According to the police, Kobad Ghandy stayed in Delhi for over three years and had a makeshift work place in Vasant Vihar. He operated from two places: his residence in Molarband, Badarpur and his office in Vasant Vihar.

He frequently reeced various targets in Delhi. Ghandy was heading the Central Committee Maoist and Central Publishing Bureau during his stay in Delhi. He was also heading the South Western Regional Bureau.

Ghandy stayed along with three other close associates namely: Sudheer, Arvind Joshi alias Ashok and Ajay. Ghandy stayed with Ashok in Molarband. Sudheer visited residence frequently.

According to police, Sudheer had developed good contacts with trade unions in Okhla Industrial Area.

On the day of his arrest, Ashok escaped and Sudheer was out of Delhi. According to the chargesheet, Ghandy was arrested while he was returning from a trip from the guerrilla zone.
