HC corrects error on its website

The Delhi High Court has rectified the error on its website that was highlighted by Hindustan Times three days ago. The error showed Supreme Court judges delivering judgments from the Delhi High Court.

The Delhi High Court has rectified the error on its website that was highlighted by Hindustan Times three days ago. The error showed Supreme Court judges delivering judgments from the Delhi High Court.

HT had on July 28 carried a news item “HC website goofs up on judges”.

“The errors were on account of some programming fault. The national informatics centre, which is managing the website has rectified the error after it was pointed out to us by the news report,” a top official in the income tax department of the Delhi High Court said.

Justice Mukundakam Sharma elevated from the post of Chief Justice of Delhi High Court to the Supreme Court on April 9, 2008, was shown to have delivered a whopping 1,172 judgments from the high court after that date.

Justice Markandey Katju who was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court on April 10, 2006, too was shown to have delivered five judgments from the Delhi High Court after the elevation.
