The city police have been asked to respond to this question by the Delhi High Court which has also sought the reply from Mayur Vihar resident, Shaheen Khan, 35, who has moved a city court seeking prosecution of her three brothers who live separately from her.
Justice Ajit Bharihoke sought the replies from Shaheen and the police by May 20.
The three brothers Sayed Raza Ali Khan, Syed Ata Ali Khan and Syed Jaffar Ali Khan in their petition to the High Court, pointed out that their unmarried sister has been staying with their mother separately at their Mayur Vihar home while the three of them have been living elsewhere in rented accommodations.
The brothers alleged that Shaheen had been persuading their mother to transfer the ownership of the Mayur Vihar house to her. PTI
