The Union Home Ministry has revoked the suspension of an IPS officer heading Delhi Government's Anti-Corruption Wing for not complying with a transfer order. I D Shukla, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) with the city government's Anti-Corruption Branch, was transfered to Puducherry by the Ministry but he did not comply with the orders which led to his suspension on November 30, this year.

Sources claimed Shukhla could not be blamed for non compliance of the transfer order as he was not relieved by the Delhi government from his post. The revocation of Shukla's suspension came yesterday following his representations to the Ministry, a state government release said.
