Hot Saturday in Delhi, expect no respite today

It was a hot day for Delhi residents on Saturday with the skies clear and sunny and the temperature above the average. The met office has forecast the same for Sunday.

It was a hot day for Delhi residents Saturday with the skies clear and sunny and the temperature above the average. The met office has forecast the same for Sunday.

The maximum temperature Saturday settled at 34.1 degree Celsius, a notch above average, and the minimum was recorded at 23.3 degrees, two degress above average, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity levels oscillated between a high of 88 and a low of 49%.

Sunday will see similar weather conditions and the maximum and minimum temperature are expected to hover around 34 and 23 degrees, respectively.

Friday's maximum temperature was 34.7 degrees and the minimum was 23.3 degrees, both a notch above average.
