As the admission rush begins today at Delhi University, here's your guide to filling up the form.
Make sure that the form you have purchased is for your category. The forms from the general and the OBC and the SC/ST and disabled students are separate. This information is mentioned on the top of the form.
* The details on the form have to be filled by darkening corresponding bubbles. Please make sure that all bubbles are completely filled by a black/blue ball pen.
* In case you belong to a reserved category, the reservation certificate number will also have to be mentioned on the form.
A student whose result has not been declared is eligible to apply.
The university prospectus has a list of subject-wise codes. Students will have to consult these while filling up the form.
There are no college options in the form this year. Students only have to fill in the courses that they want to pursue. The application will reach all the colleges that offer the course.
A student can fill as many course options as she wants. There is no restriction.
The university has introduced four optional sections in the form this year. These are family income, mobile number, type of school and location of school.
This information will not be sent to the colleges where the courses are offered and is only for data analysis.
