IIM Rohtak signs pact with Indiana University

The newly set up Indian Institute of Management in Rohtak on Wednesday entered into an understanding with the Kelley School of Business (KSB), Indiana University, USA for long term cooperation in education.

"The institutions will cooperate and work together for achieving the academic and organisational goals of the respective institutions," according to the MoU.

IIM Director P Rameshan said student exchange programme will be an important aspect of the cooperation.

The agreement was brainchild of Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda, who is an alumni of Kelly School of Business.

According to the HRD ministry officials, emphasis will be on technical and skill up-gradation education in the 12th five plan starting from next financial year.
