Micro-blogging site Twitter has suspended an account claiming to be that of the terror outfit Indian Mujahideen at the request of Indian investigators.
Operatives of the IM are key suspects in the Bodh Gaya serial blasts of Sunday.
According to sources, after investigators approached Twitter seeking the location where the messages were uploaded on it, the US-based company suspended the account.
The US authorities informed Indian investigators the account ‘@IndianMujahidin’ was created in Pakistan.

Investigators believe that the account looked mischievous due to reference to D Company or Dawood Ibrahim’s gang in its profile.
The account had claimed responsibility of the 10 coordinated blasts at the Mahabodhi temple on July 7 that left two monks injured.
A July 6 tweet, a day prior to blasts, had warned that Mumbai will be the next target.
The account had only two tweets and it was created only few days back.
It had six followers including Lashkar-e-Taiba patron Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
