India will share with the US all information obtained from Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Abu Jundal on 26/11 and any links the terror group may have with the al Qaeda and Haqqani Network — the insurgent group fighting Nato forces in Afghanistan.

Government sources said New Delhi is ready to share interrogation details of the 26/11 handler with the FBI as the American agency had formally registered a case after six Americans were killed in the 2008 Mumbai massacre. Also, it had helped India detect Jundal’s flight to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan in April 2011 and subsequently bring him back last month.

"We will informally and formally share 26/11 and other terror details with the FBI in a structured manner after Jundal’s revelations are put on paper," said an official.

While the FBI is interested in Lashkar’s global terror links, Jundal has not made any such revelations so far. Counter-terror experts are not too convinced about Lashkar-Qaeda links due to ideological differences: Qaeda has Wahhabi bearings while Lashkar is an Alhle Hadees group. Also, Lashkar had not signed the World Islamic Front statement by Osama bin Laden in February 1998.

However, Jundal has given glimpses of Lashkar’s penetration into India and identified all existing terror training camps run by it in Pakistan. He has also indentified all the voices in the 26/11 control room in Karachi.
