On Tuesday, Reliance Infrastructure, the concessionaire of the Delhi Airport Metro Express, announced the launch of interstate bus services to popular tourist destinations in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
“We have tied up with private interstate bus service operators to provide bus services from Shivaji Stadium Metro station to various tourist destinations. The air-conditioned semi-sleeper Volvo and Mercedes buses are extremely comfortable and provide a relaxed travelling experience to commuters,” said a spokesperson of the concessionaire company.
The service was kicked off from Shivaji Stadium station with buses to Jaipur and Ahmedabad every half an hour. The fare to Jaipur is R500, while that for Ahmedabad is R1,600. The service starts at 6am and continues till midnight.
