Jeffery Archer to re-visit India
After a visit he described as "overwhelming", British author Jeffery Archer is set to visit India again this month.
Archer would catch up with fans at Landmark stores across Gurgaon, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore on his week-long trip from May 11 to promote his new book "Paths of Glory."
"I am very delighted to be back in India. My last trip was overwhelming and I received such great response from Indian readers. This only encouraged me to return this year with my new book, Paths of Glory," he said.
This trip, organized by 'Landmark' and presented by Citibank is a follow- up of Jeffery's trip to India last year.
Previous works of fiction by Archer include Kane and Abel, Honour Among Thieves, As the Crow Flies, False Impression and A Prisoner of Birth.
"Paths of Glory" weaves fact with fiction to create an epic tale of a man's obsession. A book is a reminder of the snobbery, chauvinism and favoritism exhibited by the upper classes in England well into the 20th century.
