"It is time that we stop raising a question mark over each individual, organisation and system... A situation should not arise that the decisions which we have to take, someone else starts taking as is happening in the country now," he said while participating in a debate in the Lok Sabha on a motion on price rise.

His remarks came on the eve of the government introducing the Lokpal Bill in Parliament which is being stoutly opposed by Team Anna, which wants its version to be taken up.

Khurshid said such a situation was not good for the Constitutional scheme of things and as also democracy in the country.

"Question marks are being raised outside about the relevance of Parliament itself. We should bear in mind now that some people are talking that the decisions we take here have no importance and the decisions they take outside are more important," the Law Minister said.
