“Both (the parents) were at their offices when the incident happened. In the evening when they returned, they found the domestic help missing with daughter. The domestic help was hired through a placement agency a month back,” said a senior police officer. The domestic help has been identified as Mamta and her verification was not done.

“We were intimated by the railway police after watching CCTV footages of New Delhi railway station and finding Mamta boarding a train to Patna,” the officer added.

In another incident, a 14-year-old boy has been found missing from his Dwarka house since Tuesday. The police said that Rs 14 lakh were also missing from the house. They suspect that the boy has eloped. Since he is a minor, a case of kidnapping has been registered at Dwarka south police station.
