Protesting the death of a local woman after she was allegedly beaten by her employer in Delhi, an angry mob disrupted rail and road traffic besides indulging in stone pelting in Ghaziabad to demand arrest of the culprits.

Protesting the death of a local woman after she was allegedly beaten by her employer in Delhi, an angry mob disrupted rail and road traffic besides indulging in stone pelting in Ghaziabad to demand arrest of the culprits. The body of the victim, Rajkumari, was brought in Ghaziabad after postmortem in the national capital on Friday. About 35 persons, including 12 women, were detained while a criminal case was registered against 500 persons for disrupting rail and road traffic on Friday evening, police said.

The protesters alleged the involvement of police for the death of the woman and demanded arrest of Station House Officer of Bhajanpura police station in East Delhi. Police cane charged the protesters injuring around 20 people. Three policemen, including a woman constable, were suspended on Friday on a complaint by Rajkumari's children that they had connived with the employer in beating her up which resulted in her death.
