According to the complaint, a senior police official said the woman was molested allegedly by Anil Sehgal Chander Kant and Kamal at Sehgal's residence in Vasant Kunj.

The victim was employed as a caretaker at the residence of Joenil, an American citizen who is into export and import of books, in Safdarjung Enclave. "The woman was not paid her salary for over three months. She claimed that Joenil's friend, Sehgal called her on December 1 and told her that Joenil had asked him to pay her salary," the official said.

She claimed she went there and found Sehgal allegedly consuming alcohol with two of his friends Kant and Kamal, he said, adding the trio then allegedly asked her to consume alcohol.

When she refused, the official said, they allegedly molested her. She claimed she managed to escape from the house. She approached the Vasant Kunj police on December 2 and registered a complaint with them, the official said, adding they were verifying her claims.
