Man involved in 30 criminal cases held

A man allegedly involved in more than 30 criminal cases, including for murder, dacoity, extortion and carjacking, in the national capital region was arrested near Sarai Kale Khan bus stand in New Delhi today, police said.

A man allegedly involved in more than 30 criminal cases, including for murder, dacoity, extortion and carjacking, in the national capital region (NCR) was arrested near Sarai Kale Khan bus stand in New Delhi on Saturday, police said.

Ravi Kumar, 27, was arrested on a tip-off received by the police on Thursday.

"We recovered one country-made revolver, along with three live cartridges, from him," a police official said.

"His interrogation revealed that his gang used to hide in Nepal after committing crimes in the NCR. Ravi had come to Delhi to gather information for a robbery planned by them," the official added.
