Train services on Dwarka-Noida line remained disrupted for almost 20 minutes.

Eyewitnesses said the incident took place at 10.50pm, when the train frequency was low as were the number of passengers on the platform.

"Metro personnel and CISF officials picked the man up and sent him to the hospital. He did not seem to have any serious injuries," said a spokesperson.

Metro officials were not sure whether the man jumped or fell on the tracks unintentionally. But those present on the platform claimed that the man tried to commit suicide.

"He jumped just as the train was entering the platform. The train stopped just in time," said Madhur Yadav, who was taking a train to Noida.
