An argument over not inviting the neighbours for his brother's marriage led to the murder of a 22-year-old man in Mangolpuri on Monday night.

Police said around 11:30pm Shakir, 22, and his brother Asif, 20, were walking towards their house when four of their neighbours stopped them.
"They asked Shakir why didn't he invite them for Asif's marriage on March 3. This was followed by a heated argument and the four accused — Salman, Javed, Manzar and Samar — stabbed the duo," a senior police officer said.
Asif is currently recuperating at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital while his brother Shakir was declared brought dead at Jaipur Golden Hospital.
The incident took place at Y block of Mangolpuri.
Family members of the victims have alleged that the accused had threatened them earlier too and the family had informed the police.
"But police didn't take any preventive action. Had they taken any action, Shakir would have been saved," a family member said.
A case of murder has been registered and hunt is on to arrest the accused who are absconding.
