Identified as Arjun Chaudhary, the incident was reported from Bhajanpura. Chaudhary took to this extreme step following an alleged heated verbal exchange with his brother over the issue of allowing one of the family’s neighbours to use the family car. He did not leave any suicide note behind.

“After the argument, he went to his room. Minutes later, his family heard the sound of gunshot and rushed to see that he had shot himself in the face,” said an officer.

According to police, Chaudhary apparently had a fiery temper and used to get angry at the drop of a hat. He used a legal rifle to end his life.

He was rushed to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

“We have registered a case and are investigating whether his brother had any direct role in forcing him to end his life,” the officer sad.
