Man shot at, critical
A former Food Corporation of India (FCI) official was critically injured after two armed men shot him at his Dilshad Garden house on Monday.

A former Food Corporation of India (FCI) official was critically injured after two armed men shot him at his Dilshad Garden house on Monday. Police said Vijay Kumar Malhotra (57) retired from the FCI last year and is currently dealing with distribution of products made at the ashram of Asaram Bapu, a controversial spiritual leader from Gujarat. Rajesh Kumar Garg, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast), said, “The door bell rang and Malhotra opened the door. The accused greeted him and within seconds opened three rounds of fire on him. Two shots missed him but the third hit his jaw.”
