Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has proposed feeder buses on five routes from various metro stations in Noida to different parts of the satellite town.

DMRC officials said they proposed routes are expected to connect the entire Noida city with the metro.

The 15-kilometre Indraprastha – Noida section of metro is expected to open by end of August 2009.

The DMRC has proposed to start two feeder bus routes from Sector 32 City Centre metro stations while one each from the Golf Course metro station, the Sector – 15 station and the Botanical Garden metro stations.

The opening of the metro line along with the feeder bus service will provide residents of Noida much-desired local transport.

“We have proposed to put 60 air-conditioned buses on these routes on a frequency of 10 minutes,” a DMRC spokesperson said.

The officials, however, added that the feeder service would depend on permits given by the regional transport office.
