The donation is available on Tuesday in 41 countries including India, and will be provided in up to 90 countries by July 2014, it said in a release.
Nonprofits and NGOs, who meet the eligibility criteria, will be able to access Microsoft's up-to-date Office cloud service, it added.
Microsoft's donation of Office 365 for nonprofits is part of its community support. In fiscal year 2013, Microsoft donated $795 million (Fair Market Value) in cash, software and services to 70,286 nonprofits in more than 115 countries around the world, it said.
