On Sunday, with anti-corruption protesters in a celebratory mode, brand Anna sold like hot cakes at India Gate. The ubiquitous 'Anna topi' - Gandhi caps with 'I am Anna' printed on it - were keenly sought after and there was no dearth of people selling them. HT reports.

On Sunday, with anti-corruption protesters in a celebratory mode, brand Anna sold like hot cakes at India Gate. The ubiquitous 'Anna topi' - Gandhi caps with 'I am Anna' printed on it - were keenly sought after and there was no dearth of people selling them.

The tricolour was available in all shapes, sizes and fabric to suit all pockets, including one with blinking lights in the flag stick. Industrious young men, armed with acrylic colours and brushes, were swarming the area to paint the tricolour on cheeks and arms for Rs 10.

As the sun started to set, hawkers with candles materialized from nowhere, expecting a candle light march.
