Ashwani Sharma (40), manager of Porteck India Services at Sector-63, went missing after a visit to Shipra mall in Indirapuram on October 9.

Sharma’s family arrived from Patiala in Punjab on October 10 and provided the police with CCTV footage from Shipra Mall captured which confirms that Sharma visited the mall, say the police.

The family also told SSP Ghaziabad that as per Sharma’s phone records, a call was made from Noida Sector-63, after which the mobile phone was switched off.

Sharma lived at a rented flat in GAIL Vihar in Sector-62.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and a case has been registered.

“Investigations are on in the case and the police have identified some suspects,” a police officer said.
