The Met office recorded the rainfall at 9.2 mm between 8.30 A.M. and 8.30 P.M. even when the temperature rose to a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded was 28.0 degrees Celsius, the weatherman said.

The humidity ranged from 90 per cent to 60 per cent, which resulted in the sultry weather. The weather, however, became clear soon after the rains around noon.

According to the forecast for Monday, the sky would be partly cloudy with chances of rain or thundershowers in some areas and the maximum temperature is likely to be 37 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 28 degrees Celsius.
