Loopholes: Eight of the blast "victims" who were rushed to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital never reached there even though it is barely a kilometre away from the "blast" site. The hospital authorities finally asked the staff to get back to the routine duty after waiting for almost two hours for the victims.

Even 16 minutes after the blast, the seriously injured victims were seen on stretchers, lying on the road as members of CISF, Home Guard, Delhi Metro and NDRF were busy in rescue operations.

Toll: Five people were "killed" and 55 suffered various degrees of wounds.
