NDMC chairperson joins office

Archana Arora, an IAS officer (AGMU Cadre-1983), took charge of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Monday.

She took the oath of office as chairperson, NDMC. Parimal Rai, IAS officer, was serving as the chairperson before Arora took over.

Prior to her appointment, Archana Arora had served in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands administration. She had also served earlier in the Delhi government’s various departments such as education, trade and taxes, transport and energy.
