NDMC launches grievance cell for pensioners

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has launched a designated Pension Grievances Redressal Cell for speedy delivery of pensions to its retired employees. HT reports.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has launched a designated Pension Grievances Redressal Cell for speedy delivery of pensions to its retired employees.

Complainants will get a unique identification number (UIN), which they can use to check the status of their pension case at the NDMC portal, where designation, address and email ID of the responsible officer in-charge will also be available.

"A grievance will be acknowledged at the most within three days of its receipt. It will be redressed within 15 days, unless a reasoned reply is issued to the aggrieved pensioners," said an official of the New Delhi Municipal Council.
