NDMC's 'new' wedding hall
The NDMC on Wednesday opened its sixth air-conditioned barat ghar, complete with best ambience and modern facilities designed as eco-friendly with modern kitchen equipment.

The NDMC on Wednesday opened its sixth air-conditioned barat ghar, complete with best ambience and modern facilities designed as eco-friendly with modern kitchen equipment.
The civic body felt it necessary to give the barat ghar, situated between Swati Hostel & Kali Mandir on Mandir Marg since 1988, an overhauling in order to compete with the current style of banquet hall culture.
The total built up area is now 1,050 sq metres spread over ground, mezzanine and basement. The building, costing Rs 3.25 crore, can accommodate 800-1,000 persons at a time.
