NHRC notice to chief secretary
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a showcause notice to the Delhi Chief Secretary for non-payment of monetary relief to victims of silicosis.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a showcause notice to the Delhi Chief Secretary for non-payment of monetary relief to victims of silicosis.
Giving him a six weeks time to respond, the NHRC has claimed that the Delhi Government has failed to protect the 21 out of 44 workers suffering from silicosis. Alleging a human right violation, PRASAR, a NGO had filed a complaint to the NHRC.
