Speaking to the media, Hazare said that the civil society was not interested in forming a parallel government but it was important to bring the PM and higher judiciary under the lokpal if we want to weed out corruption from the system. He said that talks of parallel govt, was only to stop people's protest.

Anna also blamed the goverment for not keeping its promise which it had made before they ended their fast at the Jantar Mantar. He said that government does not want to end graft and so it is not agreeing to our draft proposals.
