"I have nothing to hide and I stand before you with a clear conscience and complete conviction," Kalmadi said at a press conference.

"We believe in total transparency. We do not have any official communication about the money trail that the news channel has been talking about."

A channel had claimed that a cash transfer of Rs 1.68 crore took place from the OC to UK-based AM Films UK Ltd, in lieu of services obtained during the Queen’s Baton Relay function in London in October last year.

Kalmadi said the Indian High Commission in London had recommended AM Films. The mission denied this.

"AM Films is not on the panel of companies recommended by the high commission," a spokesman told PTI.
