"We saw things unfolding on TV and decided that we have to go to Delhi and support Anna. We have a strong Indian Diaspora in Dubai and feel ashamed when people say India is one of the most corrupt countries," said KK Bose, a Dubai-based lawyer.
The delegation will be out on Delhi’s streets supporting Anna's movement till Thursday.
The Indian Ex-Servicemen Movement, a federation of more than 40 lakh military veterans, also participated in the protest. "Our federation is supporting India's movement across the nation. We strongly disapprove of the way the government has handled this issue. It’s a fight for a corruption-free India," said group captain (retd) Satinder Singh. Around 500 retired armymen held rallies and took out processions on Wednesday.
