Officials look at FEMA case

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, his manager Maroof Ali and his event manager Chitresh Srivastava were questioned again on Thursday by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials. HT reports.

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, his manager Maroof Ali and his event manager Chitresh Srivastava were questioned again on Thursday by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials.

Rahat and his manager Marrof were caught at IGI airport on February 13 for carrying $ 1.42 lakh of cash and cheques that were not declared.

Final statements the three suspects were recorded, say sources. The DRI is looking into the possibility to invoke foreign exchange management Act (FEMA) against the trio.
