Oldest freedom fighter passes away
Satyavati, mother of the late Vice-President Krishan Kant, died in New Delhi on Tuesday, family sources said.

Satyavati, mother of the late Vice-President Krishan Kant, died in New Delhi on Tuesday, family sources said.
106-year old Satyavati was the oldest freedom fighter.
President Pratibha Patil had visited the centenarian at her residence here in August last year on Martyrs day to felicitate her.
"We are proud of you," Patil had told Satyavati.
The cremation will take place at Lodhi Road on Wednesday.
