The girl alleged that the man touched her private body parts while getting x-ray scan of her backbone. The girl said in her complaint that she visited Laras Healthcare in Sector 43 on Friday with her caretaker.

“The doctor advised me to get the x-ray of my backbone done in the same hospital. The trainee lab assistant, Inayat Wani, told my caretaker to stay in a separate room. I wore a gown after changing my clothes and laid on the x-ray table where he touched my private body parts a number of times,” the girl stated in her statement.

The hospital spokesperson said that the lab assistant was not an employee.

The hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. V. Sobti said, “We handed him over to the police the moment we received the complaint."
