Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Pawan Kumar Jain reduced Central Delhi resident Shiva Nand's term to a day from four, telling him that "he was supposed to be more careful".
"He (Shiva) was driving taxi, he was supposed to be more careful. Despite that, he preferred to have a few pegs while driving the taxi," said the court. Shiva was caught driving the taxi under the influence of alcohol at Rohtak Road on February 27. He was also not wearing a seat belt.
