Paintball, Zorb, rappelling and more: Garden of Five Senses has it all

We checked out the newly opened soft adventure park in Garden of Five Senses and here is why you should do that too.

Looking for one on one battles with your siblings and friends? Or want to experience some rock-climbing and rappelling fun? Or maybe you want to feel the rush of adrenaline, with some bungee jumping. Where would all this be, you might ask. At the Garden of Five Senses, one of Delhi’s most beautiful parks which was developed by the Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation. The organisation came together with Wanderlust to make the place buzzier, by opening a soft adventure park. The move has already proved to be a hit.

“This adventure park is a way of attracting Delhiites to discover this park once more and to make it an all inclusive place of fun and beauty. We have much more planned for the park and will be revealing that soon,” says SP Singh, Managing Director and CEO, Delhi Tourism & Transportation.

“This 20 acre area is beautiful. The introduction of the soft adventure park is a way to get Delhiites back to the park. We’ve already had a great first weekend; the park was packed with visitors and entries had to be shut at four because of the long line,” says S K Yadav, managing director of Wanderlust. “We have a lot more planned for the park — a bungee station, a 1000 ft zipline which goes across the area and it is something kids of all age groups and families can enjoy,” he adds.

Here is a look at all our favourite activities in the park that you can experience, too.

Running Bungee

Get strapped and take run on the inflatable alley, only to get pulled back with full force. The activity works just like bungee and is fun, especially when done in groups.

Wooden Rappelling Wall

Can’t go all the way to the mountains and want to experience some rock climbing and rappelling fun? This one is for you. All rides are designed under German safety standards and all individuals are assisted by a park trainer.

Inflatable Rock Wall

Made for kids, this is a safer alternative to the wooden rappelling wall. Not only does this rock wall make for a great exercise, but also doubles up as an inflatable pad for when you want to play.

Velero Wall

Suit up in a Velcro suit, make a run for the wall and just jump. This activity is the closest thing to going splat against the wall like a cartoon character.

Paintball Battle Game

You don’t really have to look for a paintball arena outside Delhi anymore. Designed with a complete battlefield and all the protective gear that you need, this is one activity you just cannot miss.

Land Zorb

Strapped inside a zorb ball, this activity is for those who just want to surrender to gravity. One zorb can house two adults, so just strap on and have a ball, quite literally.

Zipline

Soon to be stretched across a 1000 ft, the line available right now is roughly 200ft. Perfect for kids and adults alike, this is one activity that you just shouldn’t miss.

Human Zorb and Gladiator

Looking for one on one battles with your siblings and friends, and that too with a twist? These two activities will be perfect for you. Super fun and completely safe, you can battle it out (and not have mom screaming at you for it).

Rocket Boom

Designed specifically for younger children, this ride straps you with a parachute inside an inflatable rocket. Air take you up and drops you down, giving you an indoor parachuting experience.

Sumo Wrestling

No fat, no problem; put on a sumo suit and have a wrestling match with your opponent. Make sure you take a few selfies afterwards though.
