"I think Pakistan has a lot to explain on that score," Krishna who is Malaysia for the joint commission meeting told reporters.

His comments came when he was asked to react to constant Pakistani claims that it was not aware of the whereabouts of the al Qaeda mastermind, who was killed in Abbottabad, by US forces.

Krishna, made the comment after signing the fifth joint commission agreement with his Malaysian counterpart Anifah Aman.

Krishna, in a statement on Monday, had said the world "must not let down" its united effort to eliminate the havens that have been provided to terrorists in its neighbourhood.

In an interview to a Malaysian newspaper, Krishna said India was committed to resolving all issues with Pakistan through talks, but in an environment free from terrorism.
