Pakistan not gone far enough on Mumbai probe: Nirupama Rao

Pakistan had "not gone far enough" in following all the leads in the Mumbai terror investigation and in punishing the masterminds, Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said on Thursday after a meeting with Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir in New Delhi.

Pakistan had "not gone far enough" in following all the leads in the Mumbai terror investigation and in punishing the masterminds, Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said on Thursday after a meeting with Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir in New Delhi.

Rao told reporters after the talks that the Mumbai November 2008 attacks featured prominently.

While "acknowledging" the steps by Pakistan, Rao said Pakistan "did not go far enough to unravel the full conspiracy and to award exemplary punishment".
