A major fire gutted a plastic goods factory in Narela industrial area in North-East Delhi early this morning, fire officials said.

The blaze was spotted around mid-night which soon engulfed the three-storey building housing the plastic goods manufacturing unit, the fire officials said.

Twenty-two fire tenders were pressed into the service which took over five hours to douse the flames, they said.

No casuality or injury has been reported while the cause of the fire could also be not ascertained immediately.
