Besides, The Shri Ram Group of Schools, the department has recently made an agreement with DAV School for setting up its branch in Panipat.

The state government has extended a grant of R5 crore to the police department for

creating education infrastructure in towns like Faridabad,

Palwal, Sonepat, Rohtak and Grugaon.

“We plan to float a society for promoting educational institutions for the children of police personnel. On March 31, we received a grant of R3 crore from the government. This is in addition to the R2 crore grant we received earlier,” said RS Dalal, DGP, Haryana.

CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda will inaugurate a branch of The Shri Ram Group of School in Bhiwani on April 22.

Dalal said, “We’ve been contributing R50 lakh a year to the education fund, from our salaries.”
