Additional chief metropolitan magistrate Mukesh Kumar issued warrants against eight men, all hailing from Bareilly, UP, after the Delhi Police crime branch submitted that the accused are still untraceable.

Warrants were issued against Hardayal Singh, Satnam Singh, Baj Singh, Balkar Singh, Pargat Singh, Kulbir Singh, Bakshish Singh and Dharmender.

The court, meanwhile, also remanded the two aides of sacked Uttarakhand minorities panel chief SS Namdhari—Simranjeet Singh and Jagbir Singh — in judicial custody till December 27.

The two accused, members of Namdhari's 'Khalsa Sena,' were produced in the court after duration of their police custody expired.

The court dismissed Simranjeet’s plea for a separate cell in the Tihar Jail or Rohini Jail, apprehending a threat to his life.
