Ponty security officer shoots himself, dies

A 36-year-old personal security officer of slain liquor baron Ponty Chadha allegedly shot himself to death on Wednesday night at his residence in Sanjay Gram Colony, Old Gurgaon after a tiff with his wife.

The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Yadav. He had retired from Border Security Force after 13 years of service.

According to the police, Yadav returned home around 10 pm. He was drunk and had a minor tiff with his wife. Then Yadav, who owned a licensed pistol, took out the weapon and shot on his head.

His family members immediately rushed him to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
