Property dispute: Brother kills brother, neighbour

A brother stabbed and killed his own brother and a neighbour after a property dispute turned ugly in Welcome area of northeast Delhi on Thursday. The accused, Sirajuddin, now arrested, also attacked his mother and sister.

A brother stabbed and killed his own brother and a neighbour after a property dispute turned ugly in Welcome area of northeast Delhi on Thursday. The accused, Sirajuddin, now arrested, also attacked his mother and sister.

“Sirajuddin has a property dispute with his family. On Thursday, he reached his residence and had a heated argument with Mehraj. During the argument, Sirajuddin stabbed Mehraj. He also stabbed his mother, Munni, and sister, Farzana,” a senior police official said.

While fleeing from the house, Sirajuddin stabbed his neighbour Rambali who had tried to prevent him from escaping.

Mehraj and Rambali died on the way to the hospital, Munni and Farzana are recuperating. A case of murder has been registered at Welcome police station.
