PWD secretary, 4 more officers transferred

Senior IAS officer and Public Works Department secretary KK Sharma has been transferred to Chandigarh.

Senior IAS officer and Public Works Department secretary KK Sharma has been transferred to Chandigarh. Sharma was one of the five IAS officers who were transferred by the Union home ministry in February this year but chief minister Sheila Dikshit had managed to get extensions for all of them.

While Sharma has joined as advisor to the administrator of Chandigarh, he has been replaced by Nutan Guha Biswas in Delhi. The government also appointed DM Spolia as its finance secretary. A 1979-batch AGMUT cadre officer, Spolia was posted as divisional commissioner and was also holding the charge of revenue and development secretary.

Spolia has been replaced by environment secretary Dharmendra. Special Secretary to chief minister Keshav Chandra will now hold additional charge of environment department.
