“When we reached there, a python was seen on a compound wall opposite DLF Emporio Mall around 11am,” said Harshad, a member of Wildlife SOS.
The NGO team then scaled the wall in response to which the reptile proceeded to rapidly climb a tall tree nearby. The Delhi Fire Services had to be called to rescue the python in a gruelling three-hour-long ordeal.
The python is suspected to have come from the ridge area near the JNU campus.
