Rahul Gandhi meets Sibal over UP universities student polls

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Saturday met Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal at his residence in New Delhi to discuss the issue of student elections not being held in three central universities of Uttar Pradesh for many years.

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Saturday met Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal at his residence in New Delhi to discuss the issue of student elections not being held in three central universities of Uttar Pradesh for many years.

Gandhi was accompanied by students from the Benaras Hindu University, Allahabad University and Aligarh Muslim University.

According to sources, Gandhi discussed the issue with Sibal and sought his intervention in the matter.
